Since BOTOX injections are performed on an outpatient basis, you can resume your daily activities immediately following the procedure. It is advised that you avoid sun exposure and wear sun protection in the days and weeks following treatment with BOTOX.

You may experience nausea, headache, and swelling on the treated areas, but it is important that you avoid taking aspirin and anti-inflammatory medications to help prevent bruising. Avoid touching or rubbing the treatment area for at least 24 hours following your injections.
