Because injections of Jeuveau are only minimally invasive, there is no downtime required following treatment. You may immediately return to your normal activities. You should avoid touching the treatment area for at least 12 hours following injection to avoid spreading the solution to unwanted areas. It is also recommended that you refrain from strenuous exercise for at least 24 hours. You may experience mild redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection site. This is normal and should subside on its own within a day or so. It is recommended that you avoid taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications following treatment. The effects of Jeuveau will be initially seen after several days, but full effectiveness may take up to 4 days.
